We've come to the end of the road,
And to manoeuvre through the thicket ahead:
I've to leave you behind.
To survive this untimely injustice of fate,
Nabwire, go back to your roots;
Sing and dance to the old tunes,
But pray; before it sets,
I shall return for a wonderful and everlasting re-union.

The Flashlight.
Then, in a world so dark
Each time life
Hummed deadening threats
And I, wrapped in despair
Sighed...
My path you lit
And my heart held tight
But vanished--
Before in your eye I could look
Like a flash, you came.
Each time life
Hummed deadening threats
And I, wrapped in despair
Sighed...
My path you lit
And my heart held tight
But vanished--
Before in your eye I could look
Like a flash, you came.
Towards a Warm Threshold.
Sometimes we stop and sigh,
When the going gets tougher;
And the terrain gets rougher:
Towards a warm threshold.
We falter, fail and cry:
Oh, master, let's die not!
In total submission,
We fold hands and bow,
As lions roar and rule,
This jungle of inhumanity.
Deep they dig down our throats:
their claws,
Silencing us: untamable tongues,
To prey on our possessions...
Their hangmen in courts lie:
To prove our guilt,
And behind bars have us--
Raped, robbed and castrated...
Oh, master, let's die not!
At the shores,
We're abandoned-- hopeless and helpless,
When our star vanished.
We grapple for warmth,
In an eternal wait for another:
To cut through this ageless night,
Away scare the sharks,
So we could wallow through these cold waters:
To Canaan...
We beseech you master:
Desert us not.

And the terrain gets rougher:
Towards a warm threshold.

A State Funeral.
Six they're it was said:
Two government ministers,
And four unknown wananchi--
Guards and pilots,
In the bird of death,
Before the fatal crash.
Calls of condolence flooded news rooms;
Some mystic tales were aired--
Five days on end:
Flags were half-mast;
And news maniacs starved,
Amidst the endless tributes;
And oceans of tears shed...
They'd been flown--remains,
Under heavy security:
To city mortuary for post-mortem,
By skilled hands from lands yonder!
But the unknown four,
Were thrown into a nearby hospital store--
To be picked,
At their kins' displeasure!
Two government coffins were utilized;
They were decorated with our colourful flags.
The filthy paths to the fallen officers' palaces,
Were overnight tarmacked.
Rolls and rolls of red carpet were wasted:
For royals and loyals,
They cried like babies;
But still their eyes remained dry...
Lengthy and boring speeches were made,
Wherein politics were played,
And offerings done in gold.
The widows and orphans,
Were assured of endless government's support,
And cameras nationwide captured every thing...

Escape from Class.
I sit with a bottle--
My entire month's sweat.
And whine whilst trying to gobble:
Feeling its contents down my throat.
A lousy smell whirls by,
Of beer and farts after a concorted pie.
It infects my vulnerable stomach with a deadly ache,
So I puke and puke and puke...
Like a burst water pipe!
The free crumbs of gossip,
Which we equally share as one:
Slowly loosen my grip,
On scores I'd to settle with my clients and Number One.
Watching women work without waning,
In an era wherein being alive's an absolute error!;
They strip and tear each other over warthogs' wine!
And my heart skips beats due to terror...
I mourn for my children and wife;
Should my employer's knife:
Scrape me from the payroll;
A detest to my foul...

velle seth: ANOTHER CHANCE.: How often we wish for another chance to make a fresh begining. A chance to blot out our mistakes and change failure into winning. It does no...

Kisses of Love.
Don't get off your lips,
Sweetheart, mine aren't done.
Slow not the momentum-
I beseech you.
Kiss me in the morning, when still virgin;
Kiss me in the afternoon, when the sun's energetic;
Kiss me at dusk, so I can sleep with you.
While doing it,
Beautiful one,
Let it be gentle,
Slowly let our tongues embrace,
And your soft, and tender hands caress me,
As I stroke your beautiful hair with glee.
Make it hot gradually,
So I gasp with unending passion,
Dig deeper and deeper, and suck out my breath,
And set me on fire-
Sweating, panting, and moaning.
When done,
My little flower,
Let my head rest on your breast-
As I listen to your heart's tune,
And my pulse rise and fall;
With the flushing electric current in your blood.
Sweetheart, mine aren't done.
Slow not the momentum-
I beseech you.
Kiss me in the morning, when still virgin;
Kiss me in the afternoon, when the sun's energetic;
